At GR Therapy Collective, we’re proud to work alongside clinicians who bring warmth and authenticity to every session. Stephanie Hillebrand, LMSW, CAADC, helps clients rediscover their strengths and build calm through practical, evidence-based therapy in Grand Rapids, MI.

Inspired by Family, Guided by Heart

Stephanie’s passion for helping others started early. “My dad was a therapist,” she shares. “I remember seeing one of his former clients thank him for the help he’d given. I’ve looked up to him ever since.”
That simple encounter inspired her to follow a path of compassion, listening, and genuine care.

Person-Centered & Strengths-Focused Therapy

Stephanie’s approach is person-centered—it’s your therapy, shaped around your needs. She believes in helping clients notice and build on their strengths, especially when self-criticism is loud.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, she helps clients calm their thoughts, regulate emotions, and create lasting habits for wellness.

Specialties & Focus Areas

Stephanie specializes in:

  • Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and recovery support

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Couples Counseling and Relationship Growth

Her sessions are compassionate and empowering. “I can sound like a bit of a cheerleader in therapy,” she laughs, “but I genuinely want to encourage clients in their healing journey.”

What Clients Can Expect

Clients often describe feeling calmer after each session. Stephanie’s goal is to help people walk away with a sense of clarity, peace, and practical skills they can use right away.

A Supportive Community at GR Therapy Collective

Stephanie appreciates how the collective fosters collaboration: “Everyone here supports and encourages one another. It’s a warm, welcoming place filled with kind people.”
That atmosphere helps her bring energy and creativity to every client she serves.
